Why I made this site
Why this site was made...

I made this because I think British Sea Power are a great band and seeing as there was barely anything on the web about them they deserved a fan site, especially one that would be kept up to date and I thought I might be able to so I did.
I have made quite a few websites in the past but most have fallen flat on their face, I only seriously update this one these days.
I found out about the band in the NME, there was a single review for British Sea Power - 'Remember Me'. It was a reasonably poor review but I thought the bands name was great...unfortunately for a few days I forgot all about them and might have forever if it weren't for the fact that I went to the Rough Trade records site, not really knowing BSP were signed to them. I went for no apparent reason and on the artist pages British Sea Power were there with an artist page already up so I went in as I remembered the name, read it all and then followed the link to the official site, this was also good and it offered the chance to hear some tracks. First I downloaded 'Fear Of Drowning' which was very good, then the XFM version of 'The Spirit Of St. Louis', I was more so impressed but 'A Wooden Horse' stood out as the best and really made me like them.
I then e-mailed about buying the debut single, 'Fear Of Drowning' and quickly sent a cheque. On the day that arrived I bought the new single 'Remember Me' without even hearing any of the tracks on it, could've hated it of course but didn't thankfully and so the day after that I was bored and started thinking about a new website, this certain band sprung to mind. They only had a couple of releases, no real big press yet and the band were helpful, supplying important info needed so it only seemed right to make it and here it is today, growing by the second and still the only BSP fansite around.
That, my friend is the story of the site.

Copyrigt Info
This site is not the official British Sea Power site, it is in a way connected with the band as they send me a lot of the information and rely on me not to upload certain things from more personal emails, some content is controlled by the band.
The site is here to provide all the info fans want on the band.
All in the site is Copyright A Lovely Day Tomorrow 2001/2002.
If there is anything on this site that shouldn't be here then you can always complain about it but I make no profit from this site, its simply here for fans of the band to enjoy.
